a few photos

We finally uploaded some photos onto our computer. Unfortunately, we don’t have the time to post them all right now; we’ll probably wait until we have the internet at home to do that. Here is just a random sampling of our photos so far. You can check out a few more and read the descriptions of the facebook album. It’s hard to pick just a few, but I think it’s a well balanced sampler at this point. I’m not sure if we’ll get over here to check things over the weekend. Tomorrow is the Open Doors Aberdeen event, and on Sunday we are hoping to check out a church and look at some of Aberdeen’s famous gardens [Aberdeen is a multiple winner of the annual ‘Britain in Bloom’ competition].

[note: I forgot to mention in yesterday’s post that Lauren and I have new email addresses that I set up before we left.

Again, thanks for all the blog comments, facebook messages and emails lately; that all has certainly been an encouragement to us during our first week here.]

  1. Wow, your place and Aberdeen look like something out of a magazine – exactly what I was picturing. Take care you guys!
