joyeux noël

This Christmas post is a few days early, but since we won’t be around a computer for a few days, I thought I would extend our blog holiday greetings before we leave.

As of right now, we are pretty much all packed and ready to head out on our ‘Christmas in Paris’ adventure. We leave tomorrow morning on a train to Glasgow, then jump on another train from Glasgow to Prestwick, and then fly from Prestwick to Paris [with a stopover in Birmingham]. Oh, and then there’s a shuttle from the Paris airport into the city, and then the Metro to the flat that we will be staying in. It will be a long day of travel! But, once we are there, we will have six full days to enjoy Paris, and we are so very excited. We plan on taking loads of pictures, and will give a full report upon our return to Aberdeen on the 30th. [We will have internet access near the end of our trip, and will try to pop into a cafe along the way during the first few days.]

Lauren and I want to wish everyone a very Merry Christmas. We miss our families and all our friends very much, and it will be odd not seeing everyone over the holidays. BUT, I’d be lying if I said we weren’t ridiculously excited about this opportunity. It’s going to be pretty neat.

We hope everyone has a great holiday.

Merry Christmas and Grace and Peace.

Ian and Lauren

I’m loving the falling snow effect to the blog 🙂
